X Factor What Trials and Tribulations Lay Ahead?

xfactor_wAs the X Factor prepares to kick off for another airing tonight, we can only imagine what twists and turns the latest episode will bring.

This year more than any there have been unexpected happenings to keep viewers on the edge of their seats! First we have the night that Dannii seemed to out Danyl as being gay. What a show stopper that was! Whilst at the time it looked as though she was being bitchy, it later transpired there was more to it but unfortunately not everyone got the joke.

Then we have the everlasting twins John & Edward who just won’t go away! This is an odd one why did Louis put them through to a singing contest when to be frank they can’t! In a strange way though they are quite entertaining, but this is a singing contest and not ‘Britain’s got Talent’ which is really where their niche lies.

Simon having been viciously at times opposed to them suddenly takes a turn the other way when he had the opportunity to vote the twins off. What did he do? He took the vote back to the public count and hey presto really talented Lucy got the boot.

I normally find myself agreeing with Mr Cowell but that night he didn’t do the right thing in my opinion. One can only wonder as to the reason, as no person in their right mind could say that Lucy was a worst singer than the likeable pair from Ireland.

Throughout the previous series there have been very few times when the judges have come to a split decision thus needing to go back to the public vote for a result, yet this year I believe it has been three time on the trot!

So what will this weekend bring we can only wait and see. One thing to be sure of though, is if the last few weeks are anything to go by then there could be sparks ahead.
