News broke early this morning that Katie Price has finally had enough and has exited from the Jungle.
Somehow this doesn’t really come as much of a shock. I have to question why Katie was actually there in the first place. She says her reasons for being there were for some rest and recuperation from everything has been going on of late in her personal life of late.
However Kate is certainly no fool and she would have known that being on such a prominent show would bring her added publicity something that Kim Woodburn was only too keen to point out to her that she seeks avidly.
You have to feel for her doing trial of the trial, six in total so far, however it is likely that the latest trial would be in her last as voting switches today from voting people to do the bush tucker trial to voting for a celebrity to leave the Jungle. It would have fallen to fellow camp mates to decide among themselves who would do the trials from now on.
It has to be questioned was this the plan all along! It’s difficult to imagine even Katie Price “the businesswoman” walking out on what is reported to be £350,000 fee. If indeed the contract says she would forfeit it she walked out that is.
It is more than possible that the ‘penny has dropped’ and Katie now realises that the public haven’t started to warm to her as the show progressed, so has decided that damage limitation is the best way forward. Let’s also not forget the huge amount of ‘exclusive’ money she will have earned from the papers!!! Mhhh I wonder!!!
Personally I’m now looking forward to seeing much more of the other personalities which was always a disappointment when Katie Price came in as it then became about her and very little airtime was given to many of the others.
